Joy of Giving

Again this year, Meetinghouse will be participating in the  Joy of Giving campaign through the 14th of December. Bring your new unwrapped toy to the office. Spread the word that Meetinghouse is collecting toys for those in need.

Christmas Tree Disposal

In the beginning of January we will have for your convenience a large dumpster located on the driveway near the pool. This dumpster should be used solely to dispose of your Christmas tree

Exterminator

Meetinghouse offers extermination services for your convenience. When calling, please let us know where you see these unwanted critters and, if you can identify the critter, it would be most helpful.

Maintenance Emergencies After 5pm Call 215.546.2525

If it’s an emergency please call the number versus sending me an e-mail. I check my e-mail regularly however, a true emergency should not have to wait.

E-Mails

As mentioned, I check my e-mail on a regular basis, even on weekends, and when not in the office. I will always acknowledge receipt of your e-mail. If you don’t receive a response of some sort from me, then your e-mail was lost in cyber space and please re-send it. Thank you

Ideas

Let’s share receipes. If you have a good receipe and would like to share it in our newsletter, please send it to me. We can call it Meetinghouse Menu :)

Do You Know? (Answers at the bottom!

1) How long did the hundred year war last?

2) What is a camel’s hair brush made of?

3)What was King George VI’s first name?

4) What color is a purple finch?

Snow Removal

Bad weather, especially when it snows, occasionally can cause tempers to become short. We would like to be able to shovel and plow every area first, but that is impossible. Maintenance will clear the walkways etc. as quickly as possible. Please be patient and remember a thank you goes a long way. If you are considered an emergency personnel employee, notify the office that morning when a snowstorm is expected. We realize that some people must be at work no matter what the weather conditions. If maintenance is aware of your responsibilities, we will certainly try to help you get

out of your parking spot and onto Meetinghouse Road.  It is also a good idea to keep a snow shovel handy. We don’t mean to plow your car in, but when plowing the driveways the snow is pushed to the side. Also, if you notice an icy area, please do not use table salt. Salt will cause the concrete to deteriorate. Call the office and we will use our chemical compound designed for sidewalks. One more suggestion, please do not park close to the sidewalk, if your vehicle overhangs onto the sidewalk maintenance will not be able to properly remove the snow.
