Bad
weather, especially when it snows, occasionally can cause tempers
to become short. We would like to be able to shovel and plow every
area first, but that is impossible. Maintenance will clear the
walkways etc. as quickly as possible. Please be patient and
remember a thank you goes a long way. If you are considered an
emergency personnel employee, notify the office that morning when a
snowstorm is expected. We realize that some people must be at work
no matter what the weather conditions. If maintenance is aware of
your responsibilities, we will certainly try to help you
get
out of
your parking spot and onto Meetinghouse Road. It is also a good idea to keep a
snow shovel handy. We don’t mean to plow your car in, but
when plowing the driveways the snow is pushed to the side. Also, if
you notice an icy area, please do not use table salt. Salt will
cause the concrete to deteriorate. Call the office and we will use
our chemical compound designed for sidewalks. One more suggestion,
please do not park close to the sidewalk, if your vehicle overhangs
onto the sidewalk maintenance will not be able to properly remove
the snow.
